Amplify Sleep Away Camp

LAX TRANSPORTATION 2018


Amplify Sleep Away Camp For Girls will provide transportation to and from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for Summer Campers who plan to stay a min. of two weeks. The fee for this service is $120.00 one-way and $240 Round Trip. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) are to be responsible for making reservations and ticket purchases for all transportation arrangements. Please contact the airlines regarding their unaccompanied minor regulations. Any and all fees for unaccompanied minor services must be paid by the Parent/Guardian at the time of booking. Copies of airline tickets should be sent to our Summer Camp Office at girlsrocksb@gmail.com THREE WEEKS PRIOR to your camper’s session start date.

ALL flights must be scheduled to ARRIVE and/or DEPART between 10:00am and 1:00 pm only on our specified travel dates.

CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS

We must receive notification by email to girlsrocksb@gmail.comof any changes, missed flights, cancellations or delays. If we are not notified of any itinerary changes, at least 24 hours in advance, you will still be charged the full transportation fees

The Camper WILL be flying as an unaccompanied minor that is required by the airline.
Unaccompanied Minor Status: As a requirement of most airlines, children under a certain age who are flying alone must pay for the unaccompanied minor status. Please check with the airline upon purchasing your tickets to verify their policy for the unaccompanied minor service. The Transportation Department will contact you one week prior to the Camper’s arrival to give you the name of the staff member that will be greeting your Camper upon his/her arrival. This information must be given to the airline or they will not allow our entry to the arrival area.
The Camper WILL NOT be flying as an unaccompanied minor, and will be on their own to go directly t o t he MEETING PLACE – at LAX (Los Angeles Int’l Airport) - A representative from Amplify will be at the Bradley Terminal – Arrival Level near the information booth with an Amplify Sign . LAX is shaped like a horseshoe ~ the Bradley Terminal is located at the center o f the horseshoe and does not have a terminal number. Note: If your child is not flying as an unaccompanied minor and arrives at another terminal they need to go directly to the Bradley Terminal meeting place.
