Leaders in Training (LIT): An intentional CIT Program Focusing on Mentorship For High School Students
our LIT program runs every summer for youth 16-18 years old for our sleep away camp and 14-18 years old for our day camps. Each youth receives their own personal mentor for the week/s who works with them on setting and accomplishing goals, personal development and growth, skill building and guiding them in being a leader to our campers. It is a bridge program to becoming a part of our staff team which they will be eligible for once they are 19 years old and have had either one year of college under their belt or an equivalent. No musical experience necessary.
Girls who have at least one session of after school terms or Summer Camp at any Girls Rock Program world wide are eligible for the LIT Program.
LIT’S spend a minimum of two weeks at Sleep Away Camp and one week at day camp.
